Our Story

Marilyn’s Flower Shoppe first opened its doors in 1970, nestled in a small strip mall on Route 46 in Rockaway, New Jersey. While we’ve relocated a few times over the years to better serve our customers, one constant remains unchanged: the importance of family. Founded by Eugene and Marilyn themselves, the shop has proudly been managed and nurtured through three generations. From Eugene and Marilyn to their children, and now their grandchildren carrying on the tradition. To say we simply “know” flowers would truly be an understatement—our connection to blooms runs deep through every petal and arrangement. Our mission from the start has been to make flowers easy and approachable for everyone, whether you’ve come to us for a simple, beautiful bouquet or to celebrate some of life’s most important and meaningful milestones.
